







As they say, a picture paints a thousand words.
The photo below from a customer’s home illustrates the difference between double and single glazing.

The photo was taken one morning part way through a double glazing retrofit project.
There was no condensation on the side windows with retrofitted double glazing.
The doors, which still have single glazing, were streaming.
Interestingly, the double glazed windows were warm to touch at the time. The double glazing was allowing the radiant energy from the sun to come in while limiting the impact of the cool temperature outside. In contrast, the single glazing was cool to touch - even after drying off the condensation.
